You must remain open. If you have trouble getting anything from the mirror burn an incense to add smoke at the base of the mirror creating a liquid energy. For some the surface never changes much they just dive through. Some use more transportive methods.

Practice is key. With plenty of practice your scrying mirror and you will become very intimate and your journeys endless. As you travel up the ladder of energy you will connect with shamans, be able to find things and people, and travel through time.

Remember your scrying mirror is simply a tool that will help you accomplish your intent. It is the vehicle to your power.
