Mirror wall tiles can be used anywhere that ceramic tiles are used. Typically, mirror wall tiles are used around a tub to make this usually small space seem larger and brighter. The reflective light not only brightens the area from the light fixtures, but it also can reflect candlelight to further the relaxing atmosphere of a much-needed hot, soaking bath.

Laying mirror tiles is just like laying any other type of tile.

Step 1:

Figure the number of tiles you will need to purchase. You do this by dividing the length of the wall by the width of one tile, and the height of the area by the height of one tile. This should give you the number of tiles, but round up to the nearest whole number if you get a fraction. Note: buying a few extra tiles is a good idea in case you break one during installation or one is damaged later through use.

Step 2: Pick a tile adhesive. Some are already mixed and others have to be mixed with water. Since this will be above a tub, you need to pick one that is waterproof. The instructions will say how big of an area it will cover.
