Step 1:

Gather all of the materials that you will need from start to finish and place them in your well-ventilated work area. This will include the pattern, the mirror, window cleaner, contact paper, carbon paper, utility knife, etching cream, foam brush or paper towel, latex gloves, safety glasses, long-sleeved shirt, and water for rinsing (either a sink or bucket).

Step 2:

Clean the mirror thoroughly with the window cleaner. You want to make sure there is not dust or lint left behind by the towel.

Step 3:

Cut the contact paper so that it is slightly bigger than the pattern.

Step 4:

Smooth the contact paper onto the surface of the mirror making sure that you "burp" all the air bubbles out....
